In the alley behind the abbey in Abbadia a yard with no less than thirteen feral cats.
This photo is slightly retouched to correct the eyes of the white cat. The reflection has been toned down and the right eye, which was slightly squinty at the moment the photo was taken, replaced with a flip of the left eye.

My father in the chambers beneath the abbey in Abbadia San Salvatore. The town is named for this abbey (Abbadia = abbey).
